Wild About Flower Mound Festival

It’s back by popular demand! The Town of Flower Mound is presenting the Wild About Flower Mound festival to celebrate the fun and festive family atmosphere of the Town of Flower Mound. The festival will include non-stop family entertainment on two stages, great food, arts & crafts vendors, a large children’s area and other events and activities for the entire family.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a festival without live music! Dallas Mavericks house band, Emerald City will be featured on Friday night, April 17th and local disco favorites, Le Freak, will headline the festival on Saturday night, April 18th. Be sure to grab your friends, your family, your dancin’ shoes, and boogie down at the Wild About Flower Mound Festival!

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - Approximately 1,650 acres where the animals come to your car! Drive through this animal park and watch the deer, giraffes, ostriches, and zebras come to your car for food. It is located approximately 1 1/2 hours from Fort Wort in Glen Rose, TX and will take you from 2-3 hours to drive through. There is a place to stop and stretch, walk around and even eat. Sixth Floor Museum - Take your family and friends and find out what happened the day John F. Kennedy was shot. Visit the Book Depository at Dealey Plaza in Dallas and see the silent film shot by Abraham Zapruder before, during, and after the shooting. Look out of the corner window where the shooting took place and sign the book with your own theory of what happened. See the website at www.jfk.org for more information.
